Christopher Baugh is a Los Angeles–based Location Manager with more than thirty years of experience in feature film and television production. His work sits at the intersection of logistics and visual storytelling — translating a director's vision into the real-world environments that help define the look and character of a film.
He has collaborated with directors including Damien Chazelle, Olivia Wilde, Noah Baumbach, Joseph Kosinski, Antoine Fuqua, Ron Howard, Jake Kasdan, Cameron Crowe, Mike Nichols, Nancy Meyers, and Danny Boyle, bringing the same precision and creative instinct to intimate character dramas as to large-scale studio productions.
A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Baugh studied French and Film at UC Irvine and the Sorbonne in Paris and is fluent in spoken and written French — a background that informs both his international perspective and his ability to work comfortably across cultures.
